strategy: a careful plan or method esp. for achieving an end.

If your action, or inaction, is accomplishing an end... And if that end result is freedom for our people and land, then your effort is part of our cause!

Zapata once said, "I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees". That sentiment was years later echoed by subcommandante Marcos with the following statement; "Our choice is not between war or peace, but between life with dignity or without". So where are you in the greater scheme of things? Are you standing on your own two feet? Or are you complacently kneeling crotch-high to your oppressor?

Peacefull protests are just as important as armed struggle, in the big picture. Unfortunately, all too often, the passivists waste precious time complaining about the real warriors. And the militants criticize the passivists when they should be strategizing or fighting. We need to understand the complexities of active resistance. We need to learn to remain focused on the ultimate goal.

Unarmed protests offer education for the unknowing. These actions help others to understand what is really going on. Others of our own people can be awakened more easily this way. Others within the colony will also be more apt to listen to such protests; educating them, gaining their support, will further weaken the colonial machine.

Boycotts are an agressive form of peacefull protest. More than just getting colonial store-owners' attention though, boycotts can be the first step towards self-sufficiency. Why should we support racist communities? How much sense does it make for us to pay for some redneck's swimming pool and fancy car? Money is hard to come by for the oppressed; therefore, we need to be more careful how and where we spend it! Stop spending money at racist stores, stop making racist communities rich. Open your own businesses in your own community, owned and operated by your own people exclusively. In the meantime, when you have to, spend your money in friendly stores that employ Indians and treat everyone equally!

Non-compliance is similar in theory to boycotts. Take all the control tools the colony has you carrying; your Treaty Card or Enrollment Card, your Social Security or Social Insurance Number, your birth certificate, and your drivers' license... whatever ID you have that helps them control and keep track of you -burn them all! Ignore their institutions. Refuse to be institutionalized by them! Don't accept their version of destiny, make your own! Work at dismantling their puppet regimes in Indian Country. Replace those with true Indigenous forms of governence! Stop voting! Voting is not Indian! Stop complying with them at all levels.

You have to be extremely critical of who you allow into your "inner-circle", that group must be restricted to only those of your own people who have already proven themselves to be solid and intelligent in such matters. You cannot ever allow outsiders to influence your thoughts or actions; whether by accepting them as one of your own, or by blindly re-acting to their actions.

Buffer-Camps set-up around the perimeter of your occupation are usefull though. While the colony is certainly not above shooting his own, he is at least reluctant. And, if he does attack a peaceful Buffer-Camp of his own citizens, then public opinion will quickly turn against him. That will greatly reduce his financial support. Of course, he is aware of all that, so he isn't likely to attack a camp of his own people.

And, when it comes down to it, you cannot be afraid to arm yourself in defense of your loved ones! Don't be a coward. Don't be a fool. Violence is wrong, killing is wrong -but that's a 2-way street! You have to be willing and able to put your life on the line to protect our future generations, and our land. We are perhaps the only people on the planet who are continually allowing our land to be stolen and our relatives to be murdered by aliens, without fighting back!

It's good to love others, but if you don't love yourself first, it doesn't mean a thing.
